A Rocky Cove in Autumn

A cove, a bay and some sky

Today was a relatively warm November day. Down at the cove, the tide was on the turn, slowly and reluctantly leaving the land behind. In its wake it was revealing freshly washed sand and rocks. In the bay, below a heavy cloud cover, the world was reassuringly the same.
