You are a talented artist as well as photographer, Ian. I like the juxtaposition of the natural with the synthetic objects; and also the contrast between the muted natural tones of the old dog whelk shell and the vivid blue sea glass.

    • Thank you, Jessica. Coming from a superb photographer, that is praise of the highest order! My knowledge of marine creatures pales into insignificance beside yours. So I may change my nom de plume to ‘Old Dog Whelk’; it has a certain gravitas! And will hide my ignorance, maybe.

    Lovely indeed!
